Melbourne girl at heart, Briannah went to the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, before moving to Perth in 2015 to begin her Bachelor of Arts (Dance) at WAAPA. In 2018 she completed her Honours with LINK Dance Company, where their international performance tour took them to the Netherlands, the South France, and the East Coast of Australia. Her research focused on how mindfulness can reduce stress in training dancers, and she carries this into her practice in the studio. In 2018 Briannah received the Feilman Foundation Pathways to Excellence Scholarship, which gave her access to the STRUT’s Hofesh Shechter workshop. In 2019 Briannah received the Y-Culture Propel Youth grant and began her own theatre collective Not Sold Separately with creative partner Olivia Hendry. Together, they produced their debut show ceilings. which showcased two original works including Briannah’s first choreographic endeavour ‘Bloom’.
