Lilly King trained at John Curtin College of the Arts (JCCA) before studying at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) where she received a Bachelor Degree in Dance, Majoring in Ballet. As well as being a founding member of SYNDICATE, performing in both Us, At The Moment(2018) and The Kitchen Sync (2019), she has worked with Brooke Leeder in her work Structural Dependency (2018), and choreographed her own work Under the Seaon graduating students from JCCA in early 2019. In 2018 she was also involved in a number of projects overseas, including; One Small Step workshop and performance, choreographed by Ian Robinson and Rachael Osborne; Iratxe Ansa and Igor Bacovich’s METAMORPHOSIS RESIDENCY – LISBON; and the Lakkos Artist Residency in Crete, Greece. Lilly has also started a dance business AUTONOMOVE, in an aim to unite contemporary dance with techno and house music at nightclubs and festivals.
